Uncut

Terms of service

Last updated October 2026

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password and API keys private. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.

Your files

Your files remain yours. You give us permission to store, copy and transmit them only as needed to run the service for you. We do not use them for anything else.

Acceptable use

Do not use Uncut to store or share material that is illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, or that is designed to harm other people's systems. Do not resell the service or use it as a public download host. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

Payment

Plans are charged monthly in advance. Extra storage is charged from the day you add it. Prices can change with 30 days' notice by email.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time in settings. Access continues until the end of the paid month, followed by 30 days of read-only access. After that your files are deleted and cannot be recovered.

Beta

Uncut is in beta. Features can change and there may be interruptions. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it arose.

Changes

If we change these terms we will email account owners at least 30 days before the change applies. Questions go to hello@uncutstorage.org.
